FLAG Coast to Coast

La Società Consortile FLAG Coast to Coast opera come soggetto di coordinamento e animazione territoriale nell’ambito delle politiche di sviluppo locale partecipato, con particolare riferimento alle aree costiere e fluviali della Regione Basilicata.

Il FLAG (Fisheries Local Action Group) Coast to Coast nasce con l’obiettivo di valorizzare le risorse ambientali, economiche e culturali del territorio, promuovendo modelli di sviluppo sostenibile fondati sulla cooperazione tra enti pubblici, operatori economici, associazioni e comunità locali.

Tra le principali attività svolte rientrano:

  • La progettazione e l’attuazione di interventi di sviluppo territoriale integrato;
  • Il supporto agli enti locali e ai soggetti privati nella realizzazione di iniziative innovative;
  • La promozione della partecipazione attiva delle comunità locali;
  • La valorizzazione del patrimonio ambientale, paesaggistico e culturale;
  • Il rafforzamento delle reti locali e sovralocali.

Il Contratto di Fiume Noce Sinni

Nel 2017 la Regione Basilicata affida al Gruppo FLAG Coast to Coast (DGR n. 128 del 24/02/2017 “L’acqua e la comunità locale”) la programmazione strategica del Contratto di Fiume (Patto per lo sviluppo della Basilicata DGR 517/2016 – Linea d’intervento 12 “I Contratti di Fiume”) al fine di attuare un programma di sviluppo volto alla gestione integrata dei due corsi d’acqua mettendo in connessione le esigenze “dal basso” con le linee guida d’intervento degli Enti.”

Il percorso del Contratto di Fiume Noce Sinni rappresenta un esempio concreto di governance partecipata , in cui la salvaguardia ambientale si integra con lo sviluppo locale, la qualità della vita e la resilienza dei territori.

Attraverso il Contratto di Fiume il Flag ha contribuito a:

  • Favorire il dialogo tra istituzioni, portatori di interesse e cittadini;
  • Promuovere azioni condivise per la tutela delle risorse idriche;
  • Sostenere interventi di prevenzione del rischio idrogeologico;
  • Valorizzare i fiumi come elementi identitari, ambientali ed economici del territorio.
